I must be tired! At first, I wondered what the creature was beside the plant. I clicked on it and realized that the pink/red part wasn't a flower. LOL!
Aww very sweet! Thanks for playing! ~ kdubs
That's a nice looking rooster. It looks like the fighting cocks they have in Hawai'i.
Is that a chicken? Look at me, so clueless! Happy Wednesday! Mine's up.
I'm pretty sure it's a rooster. I took it the other day at Sahuaro Ranch Park in Glendale AZ. It's the coolest park I've ever seen. They've got a picnic area, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a play ground, and then on the other side they have a fruit orchard, and there are all kinds of animals just roaming around free, includig peacocks. They've got signs up all over that say "do not chase tease or otherwise bother the rabbits, chickens, or peacocks." My kids think it's funny :) There's also this GORGEOUS and huge rose garden, with every color and kind of rose you can imagine. This little rooster guy here was hanging out under the rose bushes :)
I haven't seen any roosters in a picture for quite a while...Great WW...and thanks for visiting mine...
He's a cute little thing. I love chickens. Great photo.
what a great photo. he sure has a nice place to live!
Nice shots, pretty rose garden! happy WW :)
Must be a "free range" rooster;-) Our neighbors let their chickens and roosters roam just about everywhere....I'm always worried that I'm going to run over one! Sounds like a great park. Thanks for sharing and stopping by.
Well, I never heard of a rooster living in a rose garden...but it sounds good to me.Thanks for visiting and HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!!!
BEAUTIFUL! This is my dream retirement....~www.omamamia.com~
Cockadoodledoo!!!! I LOVE roosters! I was born in the year of the rooster!
Okay, I could take the roses, but maybe not the rooster. Sad to say, I can see visiting that place with my boys and they'd be CHASING the rooster. Sigh... ;)
You were in the right place at the right time to catch the cheeky chicken. That's the reason I bought a new mobile phone with a camera.Heck - still waiting for that something to happen though
That is lovely.I love rose gardens.
Nice rose garden. I'm not so sure about the rooster; I'm sure he loves living there.
